“Bond. James Bond” is an introduction that many will be familiar with. After all the world’s least secretive secret agent is setting off on his 24th double 0 outing.
Up until today it’s all been a very confidential affair, all we’ve known is that big changes are afoot at MI6. So listen up, I will say this only once.
1: The title, so far the biggest secret of the new movie, is Spectre
2: Daniel Craig is still filling Bond’s rather dapper shoes, reprising the role for the fourth time.
3: Bond will be going about his duties for Her Majesty’s Secret Service in a modified Aston Martin DB10 designed jointly by the film producers and Mr Bond’s favourite car maker.
4: There have been some staffing changes at MI6. Having diluted the excessively masculine vibe of Bond’s place of work, Judi Dench, aka M, handed the reins over to Ralph Fiennes during the last film. Sherlock’s Andrew Scott will join Mr Fiennes to hold the fort in London while Mr Bond travels around the world. Finally Christoph Waltz will be playing a man called Oberhauser who is rumoured to be Bond’s arch nemesis Blofeld undercover.
5: Around the world really means around the world! Bond will be stopping to take in Mexico City, the Alps, Rome, Tangier, Morocco and Austria on his next adventure. Surprising that he manages to get any work done with all that distraction.
6: Talking of distractions, the latest bond girls to take James’s mind off his work will be Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci.
