Disneyland rival planned for Kent
to developers to use its name on an entertainment resort on the Swanscombe Peninsula close to Dartford in North Kent.
The site’s developer, London Resort Company Holdings, is currently looking for further investment for the project. It says that the park would create up to 27,000 jobs and it hoped to open the site in 2018.
The developers said plans also included theatres, live music venues and hotels.
As a birthday treat for my young nephews and niece I always take them to a theme park each year. This one sounds like it would have to be top of our list. Let’s hope it gets the go-ahead and we will make a weekend of it. It should be cheaper than going to Paris!
