To succeed today a business needs to get found online by people searching for the products and/or services it provides, but this requires investment in time and money.
In the early days of the Internet there wasn’t as much competition for rankings and search engine algorithms lacked the sophistication they have today. Getting to the top of search engines is a different game altogether nowadays and demands resource and strategy.
There are still some sound basics to any search engine optimisation strategy that have stood the test of time however, and this includes getting your business listed on high quality local directories. The aim of the game is to get your business found by the people looking for the products and/or services you provide in a set location and quality local directories are perfect in facilitating this.
