A London hotel is having a good spell at the moment after advertising two Harry Potter themed hotel rooms with decor and contents based on the dormitories at Hogwarts. The Georgian House Hotel’s website crashed soon after it started taking bookings for the new rooms, and though some may suspect Lord Voldemort it is believed to be because the magical offering proved so popular among fans of the series.
Visiting witches and wizards sleep in castle-like rooms based on the dormitories seen in the film series, enjoying four poster beds decked out in the colours of Gryffindor.
As if this wasn’t enough, cauldrons are available for midnight potion-making, although the hotel takes no responsibility for guests turning themselves into frogs, bats or unicorns.
Guest should also look out for trunks marked ‘HP’: it seems that he may have left a few things behind.
The hotel is also offering a package which includes a trip: the ‘Making of Harry Potter’ tour.
Although the hotel hasn’t yet been connected to the floo powder network, it’s only a short broomstick ride from Victoria Station.
