When will all the fighting end?

It feels like a very unsettling time to be English at the moment – and for once, I don’t mean the weather.

We’ve got no PM, no England football team manager, chaos in the opposition party and the prospect of losing Scotland again.

Even family members and friends are falling out or not speaking to each other over their differences of opinion on the EU referendum.

It’s hard to imagine how, but we really need to find a way to stop all the fighting now and pull together for the future of our country.

We’ve had weeks of arguing in the run up to the vote and now the divisions have become even worse.

Whether you voted Leave or Remain, there’s no denying we’ve got difficult times ahead. But all our so called ‘leaders’ on both main political parties have done since the vote is bicker and point fingers of blame. Frankly, they are all coming across now as a bunch of quarrelling kids.

Personally, I voted Remain, but I refuse to start falling out with people who didn’t vote the same. Whatever my views, one thing is clear, more rowing is not going to make things any better for this country.

Come on politicians, pull yourselves together and come up with some kind of plan – some solid information that tells the country what is going to happen next.

And please voters, try to stop turning on each other.
