Newcastle solicitors Hay & Kilner, who are ranked top in Chambers Guide and The Legal 500, have appointed two new solicitors and expanded some of its key practice areas.
Lauren Hall and Richard Marshall have secured jobs at the law firm following the successful completion of their legal training. Hay & Kilner are one of the few practices in the area which has a specialist clinical negligence team and Ms. Hall has joined the firm’s clinical negligence department.
Richard Marshall has joined the seven-strong team of leading private capital solicitors. He will advise clients about all areas of private capital work including wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney, inheritance tax and estate planning.
Senior partner, Martin Soloman, said: “We are always keen to attract high-calibre graduates to Hay & Kilner. Lauren and Richard have worked extremely hard over the last two years to earn permanent positions at our firm where they can specialise and complement the skills of existing team members.”
Jan Rzedzian and Jonathan Smith have also recently been appointed as trainee solicitors at the firm.
