EMFs and why you should minimise their damage

Electromagnetic force (EMF) is becoming more of a prevalent issue as society continues to rely more and more on electricity for our heat, energy and entertainment.

There is concern among some people that EMFs can have a detrimental effect because of your exposure to these forces. If you have any type of worries of this nature, EMF surveys are often the best way to go to help you work out if you need to make changes to your home.

But what exactly are EMFs?

There are natural EMFs that are unavoidable, such as the Earth’s electromagnetic field, which helps our planet to spin on its axis around the Sun.

But there are also man-made EMFs that you will find and use in everyday life.

Pylons and electrical appliances in your home are low frequency EMFs that you need to function all the time.

The high frequency EMFs include mobile phones, smart meters, laptops, microwaves, Wi-Fi routers and baby monitors are ones that you need to pay extra attention to.

An EMF survey will help you identify these high frequency EMFs to see how your stress levels are coping with them. A path forward to reduce this stress can then be worked on, depending on your lifestyle and a lot of other criteria.

As well as a one-off visit, a lot of companies are available for follow-up visits. They will even check homes before you buy them if you are looking to purchase a new house.

The devil is in the detail. Even the mattress you sleep on may be giving you cause for concern if it is a metal one that can distort the natural electromagnetic forces around you. Changing your mattress could be a simple way of reducing your exposure.

There is a lot you can learn when it comes to EMFs, and plenty of resources out there for you to learn from.
